SSS Wednesay Challenge-Watercolor 2nd Try

I was enjoying some peaceful craft room time and decided to submit one more watercolor card to the  SSS Wednesday Challenge blog. It says you can submit 5 cards, but we’ll see what happens there.

On this card the flower came from Cleary Besotted Happy Everything. The die cut sentiment is from Stitched Rectangular Frame and More Die Set. The image was embossed using Versa Mark and a hallow graphic embossing powder and water colored with a water brush, water crayons, and highlighted with Tom Bow markers.I will have to update some of the company info shortly as I’m not finding my notes at this time.

This morning I’m going to be leaving soon to go visit and chat with Mom. I’m also going to be giving her the card set I have been working on making for her. I was initially going to make a set with them all similar just different colors. Then my inner mind says…what fun would that be? So I made her  10 cards blank on the inside and no sentiments on the front. I made a small envelope and filled it with a bunch of different banners an a few different shapes with tape adhesive on the back so she can just strip off the back and attach to the card that she’s wanting to send. I put all the cards, 10 multi colored envelopes, 10 stamps, a few little pocket things, with adhesive on the back .to attach to a card incase she wants to include a gift card, cash / check, and a pen.

I was having a hard time trying to decide what type / size of sentiment banners to include along with trying to include enough sentiments of type and subject. Of course being my Mom and all she can just tell me that she needs a sentiment for this or that and I will make it appear…lol

  1. Your card is lovely – the set you’ve made for your mum sounds fabulous – I bet she was delighted with it!
Thanks for playing along with us at Simon Says stamp Wednesday Challenge.
