There are times I’m glad to just be practicing. Like when trying out new die.

So, I love the way this card turned out.
There is only 1 problem with the 1st. Card posted….As you can see it is actually orientated incorrectly.

In this case the top card is great, I was planning on adding a few little critters to the scenery.

That is, until I noticed how I actually die cut the card so it opens upside down. Hence my sharing my faux pax of the second pic. Still pretty its just I’d rather have the card opening with the trees on the bottom and the clouds in the air.

I was being so carful to get the die where I wanted it that orientation was totally forgotten…..sigh Hard to build a stash if I keep doing this type of oops.

I guess I could not share my mistakes, but thought it might be nice for other card makers to see everything doesn’t always come out perfect.

I love this die it is from Hero Arts, Forest Sunset fancy die. I also used 4 different Hero Arts Reactive inks, Lemon Drop, Creamsicle, Taffy, and Grape Slush (will link below).   The paper is Stampin ‘ Up, black, I am not sure what color name they actually use.

Here I decided to make this a sympathy card after I fixed its orientation here is the new in & out sides.
