Capture

One night I was watching Live PD or it might’ve been Cops. I’m not sure but I watch a lot of those shows off and on.

Anyway, there was one episode where a woman happened to see a man and woman grab another woman and force her into their car. She heard a scream before they were able to shut the car door, In addition to the scream, the lady saw the woman who was grabbed beating on the car window and she could tell she was yelling for help.

The lady immediately jumped into her car as she called 911. As soon as the emergency operator came on the line she quickly explained that she was following a car that she saw a woman who appeared to have had a man and a woman capture her and throw her in their car and she needed police right away.

She put her cell phone on speaker so she could focus on following the car and calling out her location to the 911 operator. As soon as she called out her location she could hear the operator repeat what she said to all officers.

It seemed like it was taking forever, but it was probably only 10 long minutes before she started hearing sirens from all directions along with a helicopter overhead. Before she made it to the next intersection she heard more sirens than she had ever heard before and screeching from all directions. Police everywhere jumped out of their cars with guns drawn.

Before she knew what was happening she saw the bad woman climb in the backseat and as the window rolled down the bad woman shoved the woman they had captured out onto the pavement. Police rushed forward behind clear shields and rushed the woman to safety. They cut the chains from her neck as she cried hysterically.

Before they could whisk her away in the ambulance I saw he scanning the crowd and her eyes locked onto mine. She held her arms out to me and I tentatively walked up to stand beside her. She grabbed into a huge hug thanking me profusely. She begged me to ride in the ambulance with her, there was no way I could tell her no.
