Last night John(Husband) and I had my birthday dinner at Mom & Dad’s house. Unfortunately my kids’ weren’t able to make it, but they have lots going on.

Dinner was great as always. Dad Made ribs that were falling apart they were so tender. Mom made stuffing, seasoned potatoes, and butter garlic bread. Everything was delicious.

We all had a nice visit chatting and razzing each other and laughing. The mood was light and easy to enjoy. Although my pain and junk was in the back of my mind as always for an couple hours I was able to enjoy my surroundings and the people in it.

Of course, as soon as I began to walk out to the truck to leave the pain jumped up and slapped me in the face. However, I love visiting with my parents. I never seem to see them as often as I’d like.

Mom and Dad, thanks tons for the great dinner, visit, and of course the day out shopping the day before.
