Can This Stuff Kill Me?

Monday I was strolling along my usual route through the woods by my house. It was so nice being outside enjoying the fresh air, I stopped to look at a fallen tree.

I noticed it had some multicolored stuff growing on its bark. Befor my mind could  even realized what I was doing I was running my finger’s across across the stuff. I could only assume it was some kind of fungi.

All the sudden I snapped my hand back. What the heck was I doing>mental forehead slap>?? I looked around and spotted a decent sized green leaf and a stick. I carefully scrapped a little of each color into the leaf. I then folded the leaf to hold the contents securely

I was thinking to myself how stupid I had been to touch some weird stuff of which I had no idea of its origin. I decided as soon as I got home and washed my hands I would research it on my computer.

My racing thoughts were asking “can this stuff kill me”? I certainly hope not.
