QUESTION

**Do you believe in giving people second chances? If so, why? If not, why not?

Short answer, yes I do believe in giving people second chances.

Although I believe in giving people second chances, I think it also depends on a few things.

• First and foremost it depends on the mistake / crime committed
• It depends on if they knowing and intentionally committed the offense
• It depends on the person
• It depends on if they have empathy towards the object of their harm
• It depends on if they are willing to seek counseling to correct their behavior
• It depends on if they are willing to seek counseling to correct their behavior
• It depends on if it appears as if the person would reoffend

So, I guess the short answer would be “yes” and “no”.
