When I see the word Shamrock the first thing that comes to mind is luck of the Irish, The next thing is a 4 leaf clover and St. Patrick’s Day.

  1. I think of those things, too. And my mother’s corned beef, carrots, and cabbage. Which she’d serve with cornbread she had made as well. I did not know at the time that I’d never find this meal again, as simply and as finely as she made it, once she had passed.
