6-Minute Writing Challenge 7/14/2020
Well, I showed up here for my relaxing vacation. Come to find out the place was closed, but failed to post it’s closing online or call its current reservations.
I looked at my surrounding and saw empty lounge chairs facing the water and nice warm sand. Along with empty table where yummy treats and drinks should be sitting.
This annoying COVID is messing up the one vacation I have been able to take for years. This really sucks. However.
I took the opportunity to lay myself on a lounge chair of my choice and just chill since I made the effort to get here and there was no one to be seen. I even had a insulated drinking bottle to make use of one of the many empty tables.
Ahhh, so relaxing. Now that I think about it, this is better than if this place was open. I have not experience calm like this in I don’t know how long. So, in a way I should thank COVID. (178 words.

***Well, hopefully it makes sense. Seems like I had less words than last time even though I thought I was writing more****
This is a fantastic story! I love that you showed up and no one had said it was closed. I had pictured this situation when the whole COVID thing started. And good for you for staying and enjoying yourself! Thank you for participating.

Thanks, I am glad you liked my impromptu story. Your welcome I’m enjoying this simply 6 minute challenge. I didn’t go back and reread what I had written as I figured that is not part of the Challenge of writing for 6 minutes. Thanks for offering up the challenge. I hope you had a nice Thursday.
