Continuing One Journey—Drawing

First exercises from the book “Drawing On The Right Side Of The Brain” 4th Edition by Betty Edwards.

Chuck from The Reluctant Poet suggested this book to me as the best way to learn / improve my drawing.

These first 3 drawing exercises the author wanted done before I read any of the instructional information. I was then supposed to put them up and not look at then again until I finished the book. Then I would have a before instructions and an after instruction drawing.

I promised Chuck that once I did the self portrait I would post it. Seeing as this was the 2nd exercise I figured I would humble myself by posting all 3 of the first exercises of the book.

The first 2 I cannot complain too much. I was okay with them although I can’t wait until I see how things progress Now the pre-instruction drawing I did of my hand made me laught. When I was working on it I thought things were going okay.

The finished hand when I looked at it as a whole made me cringe And laugh.

Well there you have it for now. I’m off to read and practice. While I blog, try to find time to write stories for my blog, and working on my cards / crafts…lol Yea Right…..Unfortunately my visitors and viewers a dropping since I have not been able to write as much.

The only problem is it’s truly amazing how long it takes to create a Fiction or even Non Fiction post. I know I was surprised.

I ❤️ love to hear your thoughts so Please feel free leave a comment, opinion, or feedback.

AS ALWAYS KEEP ON CRAFTING & LOVIN’ EVERY MINUTE! NO MATTER WHAT YOUR STYLE!…WHILE YOU AT IT ENJOY ANY WRITING OR OTHER PROJECTS YOU LOVE!
