The Fiddler

When there was no wind Captain’s found it difficult to motivate their crews to row with the heavy oars.Mostly they would row half-heartedly. The ship would move at a snail’s pace.

One day there was a man who played the fiddle onboard as a passenger. The Captain notice when the man would play a energizing tune his crew would row at an astounding pace.

Noticing this he offered the Fiddler a days wage if he would join his crew and play the fiddle when the sails were lacking wind. The Fiddler accepted and the ship sailed on happily.(100 words)
