Six Sentence Story—Station

Six Sentence Story—Station by GirlieOnTheEdges

Station

I need to run some errands and the way traffic has been lately the fastest way to get to where I needed to go was the train. I drove to the train station and waited for the next one to arrive. The trains run roughly 30 minutes apart.

I must have arrived at the station just as one train had left. I say this as it seemed liked forever until the next train arrived. Finally, my train pulled into the station And after everyone departed I boarded and was on my way.

  1. D.Avery’s comment made me think. “That is why, in school, they were so fixated on the matter time elapsed in the railroad system… I mean, they asked* twenty times if they asked once, “ If a train leaves the station on the East Coast at 45 mph and heads west and another train leaves the West Coast heading east at 50 mph when do we decide to take a plane….”

    fun Six.
