Questions

What’s the tallest building you’ve been to the top of?

The Empire State Building

What do you do to keep fit?

I used to walk around my neighborhood. Right now my medical situation is such that no matter how little I eat all I can do it gain weight. It’s very depressing.

What’s your jack-o-lantern carved to look like?

Now that the kids are out on their own I don’t do Jack-O-Landerns anymore. Back in the day they used to have goofy grins.

Do you have hope or have you lost it?

Hmmm. Right now I have hope that the world will somehow right itself despite the greatest efforts of people to destroy it and everyone in it.

Medically I am pretty close to the lost hope end of the scale as nothing seemed to be getting better. Although I guess there is always unconscious hope.

GRATITUDE QUESTION:

Feel free to share something you’re grateful for!  Images and photos or poems, essays or free writing (stream of consciousness) pieces are all acceptable!  AND you don’t have to do this part, it’s always optional!

I am extremely grateful that my husband somehow manages to help with all my lack of being able to help and is always there to lend a hand. I am also grateful to my family for just being there.

  1. Thank you so much for Sharing Your World, Jennifer! I’ve been to the top of the Empire State Building too, but all I could see from up there were the clouds because it was a rather cold rainy day and the clouds were obscuring everything! I think anyone who deals with chronic illness is forgiven if they lose hope now and then, as long as they don’t give up entirely. I’m glad also that your husband is such a great source of support!

    • I was lucky although chilly it was a nice bright day.

Is’pose you’re right it just seems like modern medicine should be able to do so much more other than we don’t know how or why your tests come back normal but you feel like a pile of dog doo and there is not one thing to ease your pain.

Sorry for the melt down thanks for listening. And you’re right they get this I have my husbands
