Question

What is the worst clumsiest and most costly of accidental errors you have ever had the misfortune of making?

I would have to say it is the car accident I had this past March. I have not been involved in a car accident since November of 1998 and that one was not my fault.

Now the one that happened in March I was sitting at a red light. I caught movement out of the corner of my eye and I started moving forward

Luckily I was moving slow as I hit a pick up truck that was making a left turn coming from the opposite direction where he was given a green arrow. Hence the accident was my fault.

I didn’t do much damage to his truck even with my big honkin’ bumper on the front of my Jeep. Now me I was dead on the ground. My Jeep wasn’t going nowhere w/o a tow truck.

Took me over a month to get my Jeep back. When I finally did get my Jeep back I lost steering twice having to send it back into the shop.

It was not a good way to goof up. In my string of goof ups this one was the worst. Luckily my theory on insurance is that it is not worth having insurance if you deductible is so high you can’t use the insurance. So, luckily we only had to pay $250. Whew.😢
