I don’t know if I am done with this or if I am going to put some more layers on.

I’m also not sure if it is a real thing or not, but the instructor of 10 Marvelous Mixed Media Techniques on Craftsy.com called it sgraffito.

First, put down a base layer of color which I used a yellow. Then I put a layer of modeling paste over the dried color. Use a pointed yet rounded object to scratch a scene or whatever you like in the wet modeling paste and let it dry.

I them used watercolor crayons to apply color. Once this was the way I wanted it I then applied matte medium gloss once everything was dry to seal those first steps.

Once dry I put one more matte medium gloss layer on since wit was a very uneven surface.

Now. I am deciding what I want to do now.
