A Christmas Memory Of Days Past..

We lived in St. Louis, MO until I was roughly 11 years old. Every Christmas all the kids on our street looked forward to the Clydesdale horses pulling the Budweiser sleigh coming around.

Of course, they didn’t have this many horses hooked to the sleigh(with wheels). I think they used 2 maybe 4 horses

Every Christmas when we heard the bells that were on the sleigh and horse we would all run out to stand on the side of our street.

The people on the sleigh would give each of us a box of candy. If I remember right I think it was a box of lifesavers.

The horses were always so beautiful and they were always so huge compared seeing them on TV or in pictures. There was always a lot of anticipation around this time of year.

Some years I think they would use a Budweiser Fire Engine, but for the most part I remember the Clydesdale sleigh.

After being in Florida for nearly 40 years this is still a little thing I miss during the Christmas time of year.
