Spring Forward

Is it spring already? It seems like the first flurries of winter were just falling. Maybe this is Mother Nature’s tease. It seems like every year just when you think all the weather has passed Mother Nature usually tosses in one unexpected cold snap.

This surprise cold snap usually seems to coincide with you relenting and planting something colorful in the garden.

Mother Nature’s guise of the season change seems to be timed with the appearance of last years bulbs beginning to break ground. I always wonder if they will appear the following years after them time is spent and I am always happily surprised when I see bright green little starts beginning to push though the slightly warmed earth.
