Questions

Why do we dream?

Well, I have not dreams in at least a decade. I never reach the R.E.M sleep stage.

However, I think maybe we dream so our brains are able to make sense of a situation in a somewhat controlled situation that it might not have had time to make sense of at the moment it occurred.

Do you think a person’s name influences the person they become?

No. I think it would be more based on lifetime situations and perhaps genetics.

Does hardship make a person stronger?  (example:  What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger)

I think it depends on the person. Some will decide the hardships are not going to get the best of them and rise to the top. Others will feel weighted down by their hardships and not be able to find their way to higher ground.

I think it also has to do with the people that person come into contact with. I believe whether a person is exposed to positive or negative people. Also whether they are exposed to off putting or nurturing people.

Why do we judge ourselves by our intentions, but judge others by their actions?

Hmmmm. Well, I might be totally off base, but intentions are things that have not actually been carried out yet. Where as actions are something people have done.

I also enjoyed your hardships answer, it’s true some folks will be tempered by the ‘fire’ and others will crack. All your answers today were so thoughtful! Have a great week!
