How likely do you think it will be that humans will last another 1,000 years without killing ourselves off??
Hmmm. I’m not sure we would kill ourselves completely, but I do think we will manage to kill off a good number.

I have a feeling that civilisation is going into self destruct mode. Take the last 4 years in the USA as a prime example.
Add to that the inability to get worldwide agreements to combat climate change and I can see us struggling to hold society as we know it together within the next 50 years.
Should the sea levels rise significantly as well, which I quite expect to happen, coastal land will disappear, forcing millions of people to move inland, which will impact on the loss of farming land and more overcrowding.
Realistically, unless a lot changes, I foresee an apocalypse in the next 20-50 years. While mankind will likely survive, it will be post-apocalyptic groups fighting for survival.
In many ways I’m pleased to not be around when it happens.

I do believe in the climate change effects. I just would like to think my kids will be able to live life. As realistic or unrealistic people may make this.
One thing I just remembered is how I believe they are taking AI and cloning too far.
