Whether it’s soups, stews, or chili, are there certain foods that you consider “winter fare,” only suitable when the temperature dips low enough to turn the furnace on, or do you just eat whatever whenever?
There are foods such as those listed above that I don’t necessarily consider “winter fare”, but I do tend to think about more when the weather dips.
My husband especially tends to think of these foods. He likes to have them made and have enough for several days of left overs.
Now it is safe to say when it is !50° outside I do not think of these foods at all.
