Working On Watercoloring With Mom

Mom came over a few days ago Thursday to work on our watercoloring. I just got distracted doing other things causing my posting to be late. Well, ya know…not lateeee, but not on Thursday.

First things first. Yikes! What the heck happened to my left watercolor painting….lol

To be fair this was my first attempt at watercoloring anything other than paintbrush maneuvers.

Things were going decent until I got to the rim of the bowl. I didn’t realize I had too much paint on my brush…until it hit the paper. Then WA POW!! Okayyyy, it didn’t really make that sound when it hit the paper. I’m sure it was all mental…..lol

There was no coming back after that mishap……and oh yes I did try.

After we both had a rough first try we watched some videos for awhile and them decided to give our bowl drawings another go. Let me just say drawing the bowl in itself was not an easy task…lol

We did chatting while we were waiting for our 2nd try to dry. It seemed to be taking a long time so we decided to call it a day.

So far so good. That’s all I’m going to say as I don’t want to jinx myself. I don’t need to be making anything anymore difficult than necessary.
