How Was Your Valentine’s Day?

Unfortunately, I don’t have anything exciting for you. My husband and I usually just tell each other that we love each other and have a peaceful day. We have never celebrated Valentine’s Day, even when we were first seeing each other.

When my kids were younger I used to give them a little something and a box of those little heart shaped valentine’s candies. The kids are 24 and 26 now so I just send them each a card I also send my parents one as well.

So, we had a chill day. I hope things slow down a bit for you, icing on the cake if you get some free pizza…lol Good luck with that one. Probably, be easier to just take that bike ride.

  1. I love the simplicity of your marriage. Valentine was absurd and boring over here. I didn’t seem to remember that it was actually valentine. I’m really so Happy you made a post for me, its so sweet….

    • Your very welcome. That was the first email I have seen from you. I have not seen one since otherwise you may see more from me. Yes,I don’t think we remembered it was Valentine’s until the day was half gone.
