bark…BArk…BARK!

First, I absolutely adore dogs.

We once rented a house and our next door neighbor had a dog. This was fine when she was home. Unfortunately, she was out of town A LOT. Normally this would not be a problem either.

However, it seems she would always leave here dog outside. Whoever was taking care of the dog for her when she was out of town also left the dog out. Which of course means the dog was outside all the time. Again generally not a problem, except the dog barked alllllll the timeeeee. Now this was this problem. During the day it was irritating, but it made for an extremely longgggg night.

Being as she was out of town a lot we had a hard time addressing the situation. Finally, one day we caught her on one of her short stents home. My husband went over and explained the situation. She was amazingly apologetic about the whole thing. We were relieved as this could have gone either way.

From them on we had peaceful nights. She even gave us her cell number incase there was ever another issue.

Whew, sweet dreams.
