Judging art can be a difficult subject to judge in how it will be appreciated. There are so many different tastes, even between art critics.

Some critics may deem a piece of art a masterpiece. Yet despite this among non art types even though it might be kitsch it may be a terrible piece

Along the same line some art critics may deem a piece horrible. Despite it being kitsch the non art types may find it too be a beloved piece.
