Question Of The Day: “Are We All Teachers”? By The Wandering Empath

“Are We All Teachers?”

In a fashion I do think we are all potential teachers, some more than others. For the most part I think how much of a teacher you are depends on how often your are around kids. Although I do think everyone is / maybe hypothetically a teacher it does not mean everyone is willing.

Some teachers are parents, siblings, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, even the lady next door. Along with the everyday “non teacher” teachers we have others more closely related to actual “school”. These would be coaches, counselors, and tutors just to name a few.

This does not include the general employees working around schools. These would be bus drivers, lunch room staff, janitors, and even classroom aides.

As I sit here writing this post different types of people just keep coming to mind. So, I will leave you with some more “non teacher” teachers. The person that helps kids safely cross the street and the person who run the little store on their way home.
