Question
As you have gotten older, do you still celebrate your birthday, or has it become just another day to you?
We celebrate the birthdays of my Mom, Pop, my brother, husband, my youngest and his fiancee, my oldest son, and mine.
I didn’t have trouble with birthday numbers until I hit 45. This surprised me as I didn’t thing birthday numbers would ever bother me, I was wrong….sigh and 50(a few day ago)really hit me hard.
My Mother so enjoyed celebrating her oldest child turning 50…… Here is a link if you are interested. Today Is The Day Update

Oh my! I’m sorry I didn’t know it, and many happy returns of your 50th! Fifty is young these days and although we might be racked with a lot of pain, it pays to think ‘young’. My husband was always saying how old he felt and dwelling on ‘getting old’ and he died at 62.
That’s a year old than I am right now and it seems weird that anyone would die that ‘young’. I know it’s tough and the half-century mark is daunting for lots of folks, but remember you still have family who love you and whom you love to help you along the way!

I’m so sorry your 50th birthday hit you so hard. Birthday numbers bothered me more as a child than they do now.
