Belle’s 1st Bath
Every time the faucet was turned on Belle would start chipping. So, today we found the perfect bowl, put some Luke warm in it, and let her see what we had made for her.
At first she was just curious that we had a different towel down. Then she noticed the bowl. I lightly splashed the surface of the water with my fingers showing her what was in the bow. I flicked my fingers and as she felt the water droplets from my fingers she stretched out her wing and fluffed up like I see the wild birds do in the bird baths out side.
Belle then got on the edge of the bowl dipping her head and chest in the water while still enjoying the little drops hitting her from my fingers.
After her bath she took a short nap on my fingers. Upon waking she had a major primp fest…lol

Oh my, we were / are so heartbroken over her loss.
This little Belle is so different, but we are all getting used to the new routine. She is helping us. They say even though they are the smallest parrot you should treat her like you have a Macaw(large parrot)
I’d have to say this is true. You can almost see her wheels turning. I am glad you are enjoying her antics. We do to and falling for this little stinker.
