Your trunk so sturdy on which I lean

Spreading branches thick an lean

Block the sun for which I need

Breeze rustling through your leaves

Cleaning the air that I breath

Your sweet scented flowers smell so sweet

One day a tear runs down my cheek

For a stump is all I see
