A Belle Approved Bird Land

The 1st week we had her Belle would only eat on the floor of the tabletop stand we had.

Hubby & I went digging around on Chewy, Amazon, MySafeBirdStore.com, and the pet store close to our house.

We got her the big wood maze thing and a better tabletop bird stand(that you can only see the top of a branch in these pictures)from the pet shop.

I have been trying to show and interest her in figuring out how to forage. This makes them use their brain and also gives them something interesting to do.

For the last day or two I have been trying to show her I have been hiding sunflower seeds in the toy she is standing on, but she was having none of it before Hubby hung it up.

Yes, she is upside down.

Here you can see she realized she wasn’t paying attention to where she was going. She got distracted devouring hidden sunflower hearts.

I simply tapped one or two branches close to where I was and came back up and she was happy and safe playing again…lol

I’m so happy she is becoming more interested in looking around.

Don’t get me wrong she is more than adventurous when she is hanging from Mom…lol

I think by far he favorite room is the kitchen. All kinds of good stuff happens in there.

She was very tired when she was ready to come down. She wanted a snack so I set her by her food.

It was getting close to bedtime. As I watched her take and chew bites her eyes would barely stay open.

I was picturing when my boys were toddlers and they would be so sleepy they would fall asleep eating.

I held for a little bit and then put my tired baby bird to bed. She tweeted a few times as I pulled her cover down. Once it was down there was nothing but silence…lol
