Fandango’s Provocative Question #115 by Five Dot Oh
Question
Is there really such a thing as a necessary evil, or is it just a way for us to rationalize or justify doing something bad?
Well, I don’t have any really good reason why, but I cannot see why there would be any reason to have a necessary evil.
I s’pose the necessary evil is to balance out the good, but this thinking really makes no sense to me. Perhaps there needs to be a necessary evil to help thin the population. However, if this is the case I find it to b e a really sad reason for causing pain to innocent people.
All that being said, for me to believe there is a need for a necessary evil someone is going to have to give me a pretty good darn reason why this seems needed.
My brain sees no reason why we can’t just be able to get along with an occasional discussion on differences of opinion. Why do these difference have to erupt into reason for people to kill other people?
I ❤️ love to hear your thoughts so please feel free to leave a comment , opinion, or feedback.

Hmm, I guess I was thinking along different lines. Unless something changes the vaccine was created in too short a time frame for me to be comfortable to receive one.
I know this will be a sensitive decision.

It seems to me to be a perfect example of a necessary evil. For all of us. Putting personal doubts to one side for the good of society at large.

I’d agree with you there

I guess I never considered getting vaccinated to be evil. Although it is necessary.

F, there is a definite downside, I think, because they are all so new and untested. That is offset by the prospect of getting to the point where we can go out and enjoy ourselves again. In that respect, the vaccines are a necessary evil. That’s what I meant.
