My Best Friend
Tank was probably the best dog Iāve ever had(we got him from the SPCA). He was also smart and protective. He was a great yard / house guard.
Anytime we wanted someone to come in the yard(we have fence around the entire house)we had to introduce them to Tank at the gate and then things would be fine.
If anyone just came into the yard he was a snarling beast. He had a great growl and bark. However, just his appearance seemed to make people nervous.
Of course he was not perfect. Tank was environmentally challenged. What I mean is if anything changed, especially people-wise he would lick whatever was handy until he had chilled out.
One example is if we left the house to do something. When we got home he would grab a shoe or a toy and give it to me. Then once I or we settled he would incessantly lick until he had calmed himself. We called it self-soothing.
It would drive us insaneā£ļøā£ļø
If I was out in the yard and I screamed like a little girl because a bug got on me he would come running.
Tank will be remembered and missed forever.ā¤ļø
