“Can I ask you a question?” By A Guy Called Bloke

Question

What do you think makes for a great question and equally as important – why?

Answer (may hav additional thoughts)

I think a great question is one that is thought provoking. Thought provoking for the person being asked the question and equally thought provoking for the person who receives the answer to their question. Thus a conversation is potentially started.

A question that begins a conversation is important because it makes or brain work. Of course this is only true if the person asking the question really cares about the answer they are going to receive. The question is pointless if it was asked simply to fill an uncomfortable silence.

Why? I’d say because conversation allows us to begin a relationship with a person. Yeah ok a romantic relationship is fine, but it is also important that a person has a life with friendship type relationship’s.

Friendship relationship’s allow you to have someone with equal tastes and thoughts to talk about things with when you need someone to talk to. It also gives you someone to talk to when you are having trouble making a decision and would like someone to bounce thoughts off of.

Without having an initial conversation how would you ever know if you have things or thoughts in common. For that matter, how will you know if you even want to broach more serious thoughts or problems with this particular person?

I ❤️ love to hear your thoughts so feel free leave a comment
