Have you kept anything from your younger days or childhood?

Yes, when I turned 16 years old my Father came up to my high school as a surprise. When I was called up to the office he was there with a sweet 16 corsage.

The corsage was made up of pink flowers and 16 sugar cubes. I was very surprised!

A year or 2 ago I made a shadow box that I decorated with a photo of my Father and I(younger than 16yrs.) on the background. I noted the month & year on which he gave me the corsage. It also included the sweet 16 corsage that I was given those many years ago.

I gave this shadow box to my Father as a gift on Father’s Day.
