Fandango’s Provocative Question #120 by Five Dot Oh
Question
Where do you get most of your news from? Do you consider your primary news source (or sources) to be objective purveyors of truths and facts?
Right or wrong I think each news station seems to be slanted in a specific point of view. I think this is the same for newspapers and such.
Unfortunately, this determines how the news of what is going on in the world is reported.
This leaves people confused to the “ actual” facts. If there is an objective reporter of the facts is out there where is it.

I tend to look to Marilyn and her husband, Carry, for my ‘news’. Garry was a reporter, who is now retired, but I’ve found he and Marilyn still have their finger on the pulse of things, and their opinions are factual and unbiased, a very rare combination! (teepee12.com is her web address)

For me, the most reliable is NPR (National Public Radio). But you are right, every news source has bias, although some do try to be objective. I have great respect for journalists anyway. It is worrying that there is an entire alternate world with an alternate set of “facts.” Trying to argue about who’s right is useless, because others will have a source to back up their claims, true or not.
