We’ve Gone Plum Nuts!!😜

Greg Graptis photo Off Craigslist Ad

Due to a recent incident at the dog park and just because we have always has multiple dogs. We began tentatively looking for a pal for Harley while we tossed around the idea.

My Mother is adamant that having a male and female dog has a lot less conflict than multiples of one gender.

We previously had multiple males at one time and we had many conflicts. So, I was hoping to avoid many of our past pet parent mistakes.

We had been tossing around the pros and cons of getting a pal for Harley for a few weeks. We started looking all over for a dog that we would like and that would match Harley’s personality and energy level.

My husband found s listing on Craigslist.org and I saved it so we could re-find it easily.

The man had one male that was still available. The pup came from a long line of working dogs and was AKC registered. This was not something we were looking got it was just what we stumbled upon.

I wanted a male to go with our female Harley (they will be spayed & Neutered, no pups). After much looking we ended up talking back and forth with the guy even thought the ad was removed as I had saved it.

In the middle of talking to him I had messed up the email and couldn’t understand why he suddenly fell silent, I was becoming anxious as we were afraid we were going to be missing a great opportunity.

I finally realized my error and was able to reconnect with the man. We set up a time on Saturday June 5th for us and Harley to meet the puppy,

Of course Harley was excited and we fell in love with him. Even though he was AKC we we able to get him for about what we paid for Harley.

We named him Gunner, he is 9 weeks old, came with a record of his 1st shot records, and his ALC papers.

I ❤️ love to hear your thoughts so feel free to leave a comment , opinion, or feedback.
