The 2nd row 3rd picture and 3rd row 1st picture is one of the adult Blue Jays. The 3rd row 2nd & 3rd pictures and the whole 4th row are the baby / juvenile Blue Jays.

The absolute perfect Magnola Bloom. I wish I just knew way to easily create a solid background. I am a Photoshop flunky.

Here is one(our largest)pair of male and female Cardinals. I just barely missed a shot where they were side by side. We now have 3 pairs of Cardinals, so exciting.

It’s been raining off & on all day. When hubby went out for something he took these beautiful rain dropped photos for me.

Today I happened to get a few great pictures of one of my Blue Jays. From the sound he was making I believe this is a not quite fully grown / independent Blue Jay. Kind of funny in the big circle he is stretched out standing tall.

I finally lucked into getting some photos of my male and female Cardinal together. This particular female Cardinal has to be the cleanest bird in town. Everyday for the last week or two she has been taking 3-4 baths a day, I haven’t been able to get a video of her having a nice dunk in the tub as she always manages to bathe behind my rose tree.
I love seeing them together they are so sweet.

ROSES ABLOOM
These are just my open blooms outside my front window. They still have buds that needs to open. I need to fo cut off the dead flowers.

I lucked into catching one of my male Cardinals taking a bath close.
I managed to get a mini clip from a Blue Jay taking a bath. I had several very busy bathers, but they were too quick for me. Even though it is super fast you can see they kick up some major water and look like a we dog when done.
March 6, 2020
since I posted the female Cardinal comment yesterdayI of course got better photos today.
March 5, 2020
Finally I got a half decent picture of the bigger of my 2 female Cardinals.

The trees are losing their flowers, giving me a yellow law,

Amazingly, even with all the off & on winter-ish weather here in FL this is the best my Tabebuia Trees have bloomed in several years.
The next phase is not my favorite time for having these trees. They get long seed pods in place of the flowers and when open they have a million(well, it seems like it)light, flat seeds in each pod. Thes light seeds float everywhere starting seedling all over, just as bad a oak tree seedlings…ugh.
Of course, the lack of non freezing weathers in central FL means fleas will be bad.

I s’pose I could have just posted one of these photos , but I liked them all 3 together. This is one of my more beautiful Blue Jays.
He lucked into scoring a peanut knocked out of then bird feeder by a hit and run wood pecker.

Male Cardinal decided it was bath day. Hw was more cautious than usual as there was a squirrel running amuck. Sorry, not sure how to edit videos yet.

Male Cardinal Strolling Over the Garden Bridge
His red is beautiful when he hits the sunny places.
January 15, 2020

It’s been awhile since I posted anything on this page. Today I just happened to be looking out the window and saw this bird sitting on my bridge rail.
I have no idea what it is maybe a mocking bird, but cant be sure as it didn’t make a peep. Just enjoying the view I ‘s’pose.
It’s a little blurry as the camera was picking up the screen.

I happened to grab a quick shot of my 2nd male cardinal. He is not as colorful as my other one, but he still has a lady.
As he is eating she started calling from the direction he is looking. Shortly after she started calling he took off….don’t need to be getting yelled at so early in the morning I s’pose…lol
December 1, 2019
So, I was sitting outside enjoying the breeze for a bit this morning. As I sat there I could hear my Blue Jays, Red Bellied Woodpeckers, the little grey guy, and several of the wood grain looking lil’ birds snakily telling me to go inside…lol
I’m not sure which pair had babies, but I could hear them begging…no pressure Mom & Dad…heehee I moved onto the porch so I was for the most part gone. It was okay if I talked to my husband. My voice was apparently tolerable, my husband’s not so much.
Once i got settled inside there was a flurry of activity. However, I only managed to get a shot of a male little wood grain looking birds. I swear they can eat their weight in sunflower seeds.

It’s a birds’ life!

I have 2 Cardinal pairs that come to eat at this red feeder, this Male is the bigger & brighter of the two. These cute little birds I have 6 or 7 that come and go from both this and the below feeder. I have not been able to figure out what they are.

There were 2 other’s in the clear feeder with their buddy, but I wasn’t fast enough to get a pic including the Cardinal and 5 little ones..lol. Better luck next time.
The little one’s are vey nimble and acrobatic flyers. They also seem to be able to eat their weight in sunflower seeds every day..haha.

So, no matter what I have tried I cannot make this a post for this page. Which also made me notice that the above info seemed to be replaced with what used to be written. All this leads me to think posts only go on my main page. I s’pose I will use a horizontal line to separate entries on this never ending page.(don’t forget I’ma kinda blog newbie).
Pic.1-3— One of several pair of Blue Jays that visit my feeders. First, this one has learned how to use the clear feeder and scores some nuts.
Once they have scored their favorite they either land on one of the supports of the awning where I have hung 2 of my feeders. Other times they fly to a branch on a nearby tree. Once there they peck down on their prize to break it into littler pieces, they either come back or feeds their young.
I have had my feeders out many years, and ha 2 big bird baths and 1 small. So, now when their young are able to fly some of the birds bring their young(actually juveniles I guess) by to feed them as they learn to get food and eat on their own. Sometimes even a bird bath, especially on hot days or just a drink.
I don’t usually see them until the young are brave enough to be pushy for free parent food. They will usually still use their begging noise….lol
Reminds me of when our babies learn to walk and becomes a but sometimes pushy cutie pies.
Pic 4 & 5– One of my 2 pair of red bellied wood peckers shopping for a favorite. In the last pic it looks like it decided on a white round thing. However, their very favorite when they can get it is some kind of orange square of dried fruit.

MY FUR & FEATHER BABIES
No matter how much vacuuming and dusting takes place, unbelievably hair, fur, and feathers can still be found. It is amazing how even if I vacuum every other day how much hair from peeps, fur from pups, and feathers from the bird are somehow still here an there. There is one thing I know, no matter what I love my peeps, pups, and birdie. Love is messy and sometimes painful, and that’s just the way life goes.
Skeeter is a black and white Toy Rat Terrier who weighs in at an amazing 10-12 pounds. We got him when he was 8 weeks old and he will be 9 doggie years old in September.
Next up is Tank. He is a brindle color that I love and he is shepherd mix. We got Tank when he was 8 weeks old from the SPCA. He will be turning 7 in January and he’s approx. 85-90 pounds.
Although both of my pups are my fierce protectors whether from a bug I squeal at or an unknown person. Tank however sounds like a snarling vicious beast when he is protecting the homeland. Even from the other side of our fence people take a few steps back when he gives his warnings.
Although Skeet is a smart quick little dude I think Tank is probably the smartest dog I’ve ever owned. As I watch him in new situations I can almost see the wheels turning in his doggie head. I spoil them, but they read how I’m feeling better than anyone in my house.
Now Bob. Bob is a cutie green and yellow little butterball parakeet. Even though he is one little birdie it is amazing how he can sound like 10 birds chattering at the same time. I gave Bob to my husband for his birthday a few years ago. Even though he’s hubby’s bird. Bob and I are more buddy buddy.
Why must things be so complicated. I just wanted to do a simple addition on this page. Will it just let me put my cursor where I want it and add the addition and be done? Noooooo!
I have to delete one old pic type the new stuff add the new pic then fiddle around to getting my deleted pic back where I had it. Sounds so simple, doesn’t it? Yeaaaaa…uh..huh.
I took this pic a few days ago of Tank, just thought he looked so..King of the Hill-ish…lol. I was actually smart this time, I know amazing right? In the past whenever I pointed a camera on him to take a pic(even if he was asleep) he moved before I could snap the pic.
This time(smack myself upside the head for not thinking of this sooner) I hit the little camera pic/button Thingy to use the camera to take a shot behind me instead of the normal in front of me. Brilliant!! I know…and he was none the wiser. Imagine all of the cool pics I could’ve gotten in the past if my brain was engaged…lol. Better late than never right?
